Rising star Tom Cotton has won a Senate seat in Arkansas, flipping a formerly Democratic seat to the GOP. Cotton campaigned hard on immigration during this election, using what Peter Brimelow called the "Brat playbook" in order to take a populist approach.
Cotton has been of long time interest to VDARE and a hate figure to Washington reporters because of his support of immigration patriotism. It will be interesting to see what he does in the Senate, as there are signs that the Conservative Inc. Establishment is already moving to claim him based on his hawkishness in foreign policy.
