In Memoriam Irving Kristol

I guess I can understand the hostility to Irving Kristol, who died September 18, but you have to say it’s a measure of his extraordinary impact — and you couldn’t help liking him personally, the last of the great cigarette smokers. I’m sorry he’s gone, and I extend my condolences to his family. I hope to write more, but meanwhile here’s a link to VDARE.com comments on his impact, much of it, alas, critical.
