Lawrence Auster, the brilliant if quarrelsome proprietor of the indispensable View From The Right blog, has pancreatic cancer and it has, alas, taken a turn for the worse. One of his many admirers, Kristor of The Orthosphere blog, has organized an hour of intercessory prayer starting at 5 pm January 13. I urge VDARE.com readers to join in this effort in whatever way they can. My late wife, Maggy, believed strongly in the power of prayer and derived great comfort from it. And something helped her hold her terminal cancer at bay years longer than we were told to expect.
