By John Derbyshire, VDARE.com’s marquee writer for over half a decade now, is the subject of an excellent interview over at Counter Currents to commemorate the tenth anniversary of his book We Are Doomed: Reclaiming Conservative Pessimism. The Derb’s wit and erudition are both on full display throughout. A sample:
“Question: Has anything happened in the last decade that you did not anticipate?
Answer: I got cancer.”
I encourage all of the Derb’s fans from this fine website to go check out the interview in full (where y’all are welcome to comment as well): We Are Doomed Revisited: An Interview with John Derbyshire, by Travis LeBlanc, Counter Currents, December 24, 2018.
Additionally, Jim Goad, who is soon to become a regular VDARE.com contributor, has an interview up at American Renaissance, conducted by yours truly.
If you’re interested in getting a preview of Mr. Goad’s unique style, colorful background, and merciless observations, you can read the interview here: A Class in Iconoclasm, by Hubert Collins, American Renaissance, December 21, 2018.
