Is There A Diversity Emergency At The NEW YORK TIMES?

The title here is a reference to my recent blog on the concept of a "diversity emergency," introduced by weekly contributor Ammo Grrrll at the PowerLine blog.

Today, John Hinderaker of PowerLine posted what amounts to a natural follow-up, Self-Knowledge At the New York Times, launching from a Times editorial about the shortage of diversity among Silicon Valley’s iconic companies. It’s brief, and you might as well read it in full, perhaps stimulated to do so by Hinderaker’s parting thought:

[I]t is laughable to be lectured on diversity by a monolithic group like the Times’s editorial board.
