Apparently, Japan lacks American-style problems like carjackings, riots, and racial inequality, so the Japanese government, for want of anything more pressing to do, has decided that it must do something about the Hay Fever Crisis.
In April the Govt. in Tokyo declared a preposterously impossible target to eliminate 20% of all cedar trees in Japan by 2033 in order to alleviate hay fever.
