Jeb Bush (!) Attacking Rubio Over Amnesty Now

By James Kirkpatrick

None of this would have happened if Donald Trump had not made immigration an issue in this year’s election.

The ad says:

"Marco Rubio: He ran for Senate saying he opposed amnesty," the ad says. "Then he flipped and worked with liberal Chuck Schumer to co-author the path to citizenship. He threatened to vote against it and then voted for it."

"Marco Rubio, just another Washington politician you can’t trust," the ad concludes. "Jeb Bush: He’s a leader, so you always know where he stands."

Of course, Jeb! has a problem. At this point, Trump has essentially turned him into the biggest joke of the campaign. Jeb’s PAC, "Right to Rise," made the mistake of leaving the ad open to comments and ratings and the results are brutal. As of this writing, it has overwhelmingly negative reviews and most of the comments are making fun of Jeb, especially his $75 Guac Bowl and supposedly secret recipe.

JUST

On the other hand, Jeb is actually right here. Jeb Bush is actually a principled advocate of turning the United States into a Third World dumping ground. Rubio says different things depending on who he is speaking to. That’s why he is more dangerous and better at fooling the gullible.

Still, Bush’s ad is absurd on its face because it seems to hint that Bush opposes Amnesty, while Rubio supports it. The problem is that everyone in America knows Bush’s position. He simply has no credibility on this issue.

I can’t even be angry at Jeb. I just feel bad for him. He’s obviously being taken advantage of by parasitic consultants who keep telling him that he’s a real contender.
