My friends tell me that there has been a massive influx of illegal aliens crossing in the Swanton Sector (Vermont and part of upstate New York) and that Agents from other northern border sectors are being detailed over to Swanton to help out with the migrant influx. A few years back, Justin Trudeau eliminated the visa requirement for Mexicans to enter Canada. Before that, a Mexican seeking to go to Canada had to prove they had ties to Mexico and were likely to go back to Mexico. They had to show things like a bank account in Mexico.
Predictably, the moment Trudeau did this, we were getting Mexicans flying into Canada and then crossing into the United States by canoe, jet ski or boat. Gee, who could have predicted that? When poor Mexicans who can barely afford to pay for plane tickets go and buy tickets for themselves and their two kids and takes along their Chihuahua, you can safely bet they do not intend to return to Mexico. (Yes, I’ve seen that before.)
Canada supposedly has a more stringent immigration system than America because it has a “Merit Based” immigration system. Yeah, that’s on paper, how things are actually enforced is a different matter. Getting to Canada and asking for political asylum negates all that. Plus, Canada has deals with more countries to allow in “visitors” with no visa requirement. As the Open Borders advocates know, once an alien is in the United States (or Canada, or Western Europe), it becomes difficult to deport and get rid of them. That’s where the courts step in to help only one side.
Say what you will about Trump, when he was in office, Haitians were fleeing the United States into Canada out of fear.

They sure didn’t want to go back to their little island paradise. Now, a lot of those same migrants are coming back into the United States.
But hey, Baghdad Mayorkas claims the border is secure. Does the Stupid Party have the guts to do anything against him other than a strongly worded memo?
