Mexico’s AMLO Endorses Obama, Accuses Republicans of "Racism"

Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, also known by his initials AMLO, was the runner-up in the 2006 and 2012 Mexican presidential elections, though he refused to concede either election.

AMLO has recently endorsed Obama in the U.S. election, and has excoriated Republicans for “racism against the immigrants.”

AMLO declared that

“I would like it to go well for Obama, because the Republicans have shown that they do not want/love our fellow Mexicans, they support the heavy hand, racism and bad treatment.”

Sería Positivo Que Ganará Obama: López Obrador, Roberto Aguilar Grimaldo, El Universal, Oct. 26th, 2012

Wait a minute! Is AMLO referring to the same Republican Party which panders to Latinos, which runs Spanish-language campaign ads, and which has passively allowed Obama to proclaim a unilateral amnesty?

Hmm, when AMLO’s followers migrate to the U.S., for which political party do you suppose they’ll vote?
