The 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia, are over, and Mexico sent a one-man team: Hubertus von Hohenlohe, a European aristocrat, born in Mexico while his dad was running a Volkswagen factory in Mexico City.
The flamboyant aristocrat has competed for Mexico in six Winter Olympics, in four of them was a one-man team. Hohenlohe never won an Olympic medal, but then his motto was "If you cannot win, then at least be stylish."
For more information about Hubertus von Hohenlohe, see my latest Mexidata column entitled Mexico’s One Man Winter Olympics Team and Haute Style Leader.
