D.C. tradition that says statues should not exceed the height of the 19.5-foot Freedom Statue atop the U.S. Capitol," Kelly said. "Lincoln is 19 feet tall and so is Jefferson. The Stone of Hope is 30 feet tall, but King’s head is below the top of the stone and the likeness ends at his knees so his physical profile is 19 feet."
This is the best Martin Luther King Day since this embarrassing holiday became enforced in 1986.
For reasons that, as I noted in The Dam Breaks On MLK’s True Character I do not understand, the November release of Kennedy assassination documents included an FBI dossier [PDF] on King’s colorful activities during that time.
As Clayton Bishop discusses in On Martin Luther King Day: Will #MeToo Do To The MLK Myth What Plagiarism, Adultery, Communism, Haven’t — Yet in the present era much less dramatic accusations have taken down
Leftist Senators, celebrities and businessmen…It’s taken down John Conyers and Bill Cosby, hasn’t it?
Although these prurient stories are amusing — see MLK in Oslo: It was the Blondes — to my mind a much more important revelation was brought to my attention by Occidental Dissent in MLK FBI Files Vindicate White Nationalist Critics November 6, 2017 which begins
Many years ago, I remember stumbling across the truth about Martin Luther King, Jr. at Stormfront, which for years has maintained a website called MartinLutherKing.org.
OD accurately says
The most damaging allegation is that the Jewish communist Stanley Levison fed MLK all his lines and approved everything he said because he was a “slow thinker.” In the 1950s, many American communists rebranded as “civil rights activists” in order to push their ideas into the mainstream
OD reproduces three pages of the FBI dossier, with a quotation in the third:
Stanley Levison has told Clarence Jones, another advisor to King, that in no circumstances should King be permitted to say anything without their approving it. Levison also informed Jones that King is such a slow thinker he is usually not prepared to say anything without help from someone.
Levison was a true believer. According to The FBI and Martin Luther King David J Garrow The Atlantic July/August 2001 Levison, who owned a car dealership in New Jersey
contributed well over $10,000 a year to the CPUSA.
(VDARE.com can attest this is unusual behavior by high net worth supporters!)
The Atlantic continues:
When Ella Baker and her fellow African-American civil-rights activist Bayard Rustin introduced Levison to King, a special relationship quickly blossomed; from the late 1950s until King’s death, in 1968, it was without a doubt King’s closest friendship with a white person.
(VDARE.com emphases.) Levison was unquestionably well-placed to judge King’s mental capacity.
This sheds a different light on the well-known MLK plagiarism scandals. Although those who do not believe might not grasp this, theology is a very difficult subject. King’s resort to theft may not have been caused by laziness.
Beyond MSM connivance and astute Ultra Leftist management how was MLK able to fool America?
I believe the answer lies in one of our late, lamented friend J Phillipe Rushton’s best contributions: Solving The African IQ Conundrum: “Winning Personality” Masks Low Scores
Whites look upon themselves as the norm. Whites tend not to speak up if they don’t know the answer to a question… They erroneously assume that, because Africans are talkative, they must know what they are talking about.
Martin Luther King (or through him, Stanley Levison) did know what they were talking about.
It was not about the best interests of the Historic American Nation.
