Mooslim Muumuu May Go Go

Across the pond, Dutch Immigration Minister Rita Verdonk is moving forward with possible legislation to disallow certain Islamic-style attire: "Netherlands considers burqa ban".

I've long maintained that the burqa is not about Muslim modesty as much as it is a means to erase the individual humanity of women. Otherwise, the all-encompassing garments would not need to be identical. Nice to see that Geert Wilders agrees.

The proposal was put forward by independent politician Geert Wilders. "That women should walk the streets in a totally unrecognisable manner is an insult to everyone who believes in equal rights," he said.

Like his fellow MP Ayaan Hirsi Ali, Wilders lives with from the Sons of Allah because he is fearless in advocating the values of western civilization, which include the equality of women.
