In Friday’s Knoxville News-Sentinel, Jamie Satterfield reports on the appeals of the Knoxville Horror convictions. Not much new.
Satterfield doesn’t give the prospective date for the first hearing, which a local TV station gave as March 25.
David in TN Update: By email, I asked Jamie Satterfield if this would be a full-blown hearing with arguments by attorneys on both sides. She replied:
“No. They will likely treat the hearing as a status update, seeing when they can realistically argue motions for new trial. From here on out, things will move slowly thanks in large part to Judge Baumgartner’s own legal woes.”
