NYT Sums Up Obama: Yeah, It Really Was All About Race, Wasn’t It?

Back in my 2008 reader’s guide, America’s Half-Blood Prince: Barack Obama’s “Story of Race and Inheritance,” I forecasted that Obama’s second term would be more race-obsessed than his first. The New York Times sums up how it worked out the way I predicted:

Tensions across the country prompted the president to abandon his early reticence on race again and again.

Of course, there’s no mention in the NYT of the incremental 6,624 homicide victims during Obama’s racially outspoken post-Ferguson last two years in power.
