Five Women Who Made the Moon Landing Possible

That “giant leap for mankind” happened thanks to plenty of women.

JoAnn Morgan, circled, was the only woman in the control room when the Apollo 11 mission launched in 1969.

So … not exactly “plenty,” but that’s not the point, is it?
