Oh, wait… this is McCarthy Era Hate Hysteria, not Great Awokening Hate Hysteria.

After a study of racial and religious bigotry in the United States covering the last eighteen months, the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith said yesterday that Americans “find themselves accepting hysterical unproved denunciations with less and less repugnance.”
