A couple of weeks ago, 14 illegal aliens were detained by police in Ohio. They were released from custody when Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials said they didn’t want them.
Now it’s happened in Pennsylvania. 15 illegal aliens were detained by local law enforcement who promptly contacted ICE. Yet again, ICE agents refused to take custody of the illegal aliens who were subsequently released.
This time ICE actually provided an explanation for their dereliction of duty. According to the police report:
"They declined to take the aliens into custody, citing poor weather conditions."
The only excuse I can think of that comes close to matching this in absurdity would be "Sorry, we're on our break."
