Already several VDARE.COM writers have blogged on the atrocious Rand Paul speech to the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. There’s plenty to say about it, as there is so much wrong with it.
For one thing, Paul proclaims (under what authority?) that "If you wish to live and work in America, then we will find a place for you".
Actually, that’s not too different from what Paul said last month in his "Tea Party Express State of the Union", "We must be the party that says 'if you wanna work, if you wanna be an American, we welcome you'."
Shouldn’t Americans, not foreigners, determine America’s immigration policies?
