In California vote-counting, you can never tell when a fishing boat out of Easter Island might dock with a sack full of valid vote-by-mail ballots, so rumors can get started about how slow it is going. But I’m here to help the State of California dispel these pernicious myths.
The State of California has debunked baseless rumors that it won’t be done counting votes until after Christmas.

In other news, with only three weeks left in the California vote-counting process, Republican rapper Young Kim leads Democratic Congressman Gil Cisneros in a House race in California’s Orange County by over 4,000 votes.
In 2018, Young Kim, the K-Pop breakdancing sensation, was also leading Cisneros for much of the month of November, but fell behind during the Detroit Lions’ annual Turkey Day football game and ultimately lost in the depths of December.
