RNC Chairmanship: Why not a White Christian?

Frankly it got boring chronicling the Michael Steele RNC Chairmanship fiasco — which VDARE.com predicted from the start. In particular, RNC fails to report $7M in debt to FEC by Ralph Z. Hallow The Washington Times Tuesday, July 20,2010 brings back memories of my 7 May 2009 blog RNC’s Michael Steele: How’s that spelled again? If the FEC feels like doing its job, this could be a real mess:

Campaign-finance analysts said that simply misreporting fundraising numbers to the FEC can lead to millions of dollars in fines and that criminal charges can be levied if the actions are suspected to be intentional.

Steele’s farcical and anti-white posturings seemed to have him to have him headed to quiet oblivion when his term ends until, as Pat Buchanan noted, he enraged the neoconservatives by making some (actually sensible) remarks on the Afghan war. Then, not even his slavish open borderism could save him; and at last week an orchestrated eruption of news stories indicated they have decided to replace him with Norm Coleman, who had his Senate seat stolen from him by the Minnesota Democratic machine after the 2008 elections.

From the VDARE.com point of view, of course, Coleman is totally unsuitable. His NumbersUSA career ranking of C belies the fact, as his Wikipedia entry reports

Coleman was a strong supporter of President Bush’s attempts in 2006 and 2007 to pass comprehensive immigration reform in the U.S. Senate

Coleman, in fact, only became a Republican in 1996 - at the age of 47! The main reason seems to have been overcrowding in the St Paul MN Democratic leadership. No wonder he likes immigration! In his youth he was a pronounced leftist.

If Coleman gets the post — and the RNC is gerrymandered and has proven highly susceptible to Inside-the-Beltway discipline — it will mean that the past four elected RNC Chairmen will have been, in inverse order, Jewish (Coleman) Black (Steele) Hispanic (Martinez) and Jewish (Mehlman).

Turnout is crucial for a Republican victory. We ask: why not a white Christian at the RNC helm? Without the active support of the group — aka America — the party is doomed.

Why this persistent aversion?
