Catholics who are praying for the repose of the soul of Father Jacques Hamel, the elderly, French priest murdered by two Muslims as he said Holy Mass in the church at St.-Étienne-du-Rouvray, should contemplate this little and likely overlooked fact that appeared in The New York Times:[T]he town’s mosque opened in 2000 on land donated by the Catholic parish.Maybe Father Hamel will pray that those of us still toiling in vale of tears will find the wisdom to defend what’s left of Christendom, beginning by refusing to sell — or worse, give away — our birthright for a mess of multicultural pottage.[ISIS Says Its ‘Soldiers’ Attacked Church in France, Killing Priest, By Adam Nossiter, Alissa J.
