She’s not done, however. The prosecution said it’s done with her, but the defense reserved the right to recall her, and Judge Debra Nelson instructed her that she is still under subpoena.
HLN “expert” defense attorney Darren Kavinoka had said that it was crucial to the defense that Jeantel remain under the court’s jurisdiction (subpoena), because otherwise the defense would have to re-subpoena her, in order to have her re-appear, and in the meantime she could have left the country.
