My anthology, Noticing, is coming out from Passage Press. It’s a strong selection of my best stuff from over the decades. I want to thank everybody who has offered suggestions over the years for what essays should be included.
Now available for order for delivery before Christmas is the very expensive (and very nice) hardback, while the reasonably priced trade paperback version will be coming out in early spring 2024.
It will not be available in a digital version. The publishers are enthusiasts for books as fine objects, so the hardback, I am told, will be a superb physical object, while the paperback will be of higher quality than the norm.
A LIMITED FIRST RELEASE OF STEVE SAILER’S NOTICING.
500 first editions
6” x 9”
448 pages printed on 60lb acid-free ivory paper
Bound in genuine leather, gold foil stamping
Smyth sewn book block
I will be signing the hardbacks, although I fear my handwriting will be the weak link in the chain of quality. (In case you are wondering, my handwriting has looked exactly the same since the fourth grade: like that of a not very coordinated but diligent parochial schoolboy.)
