Besides trying to ruin Donald Trump for the high crime of fooling everybody for the last 40 years by Trump being a secret optimist about his business prospects — I mean, who could possibly have imagined that Trump tends to put the best reasonable spin on the worth of his real estate and that his creditors should (and do) discount their appraisals accordingly — New York state attorney general Letitia James is also out to ruin VDARE.com for being deplorable and for being the embodiment of the First Amendment, which has been superseded by the Zeroth Amendment that everybody everywhere has the civil right to move to America, and your obsolete First Amendment doesn’t give you the right to object, you loser, you.
After all, the Southern Poverty Law Center, America’s most lucrative hate group, calls VDARE a hate organization, and if you can’t trust the SPLC, which has been wracked for the last half decade by insiders clawing at each other over who will get their paws on the half-billion dollars that aging junk mail genius Morris Dees piled up before getting cancelled in 2019 upon allegations of racism and sexism … The SPLC promised a full report on the Dees scandal from Michelle Obama’s chief of staff Tina Tchen, but then she got into her own scandal:
The chief executive of the sexual harassment victims’ advocacy group Time’s Up resigned Thursday amid outrage over revelations that its leaders advised former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s administration after he was first accused of misconduct last year.
Time’s Up CEO and president Tina Tchen said in a statement that she’s “spent a career fighting for positive change for women” but was no longer the right person to lead the #MeToo-era organization.
“I am especially aware that my position at the helm of TIME’S UP has become a painful and divisive focal point, where those very women and other activists who should be working together to fight for change are instead battling each other in harmful ways,” she wrote. …
Tchen’s resignation comes after the Aug. 9 departure of the organization’s chair, Roberta Kaplan. Both women had been the target of ire from Time’s Up supporters over the idea they had offered any help to Cuomo, who resigned Monday, three weeks after an investigation overseen by New York’s attorney general concluded he sexually harassed at least 11 women.
And nobody seems to have followed up in the half decade since Dees’ cancellation.
But who can remember 5 years ago? The point is that the SPLC is, by definition, Good and VDARE is Bad. Why is that so complicated for you to understand? And the state of New York, being good, has more money to wage lawfare against VDARE than VDARE, being bad, has.
Anyway, I’m off to speak at what might be the last VDARE conference at their Hunter S. Thompsonesque fortified compound in the D.C. exurbs in West Virginia.
Last year’s speech at the VDARE Castle was my first public speaking appearance in a decade in the land of the free and the home of the brave.
VDARE’s policy to resist anti–First Amendment violence is to be explicit about where their conferences are held but not when. In contrast, Passage Press is forthcoming about when I am appearing, but not where: in South Florida and New York, but not where.
But now the thugs have the attorney generals on their side, and the combination is extraordinarily expensive to stand against.
This is a content archive of VDARE.com, which Letitia James forced off of the Internet using lawfare.
