Four Texas counties declared that the illegal-alien invasion of the southwest border is, well, an invasion, but they didn’t say what needed to be said: that the Biden Regime is aiding and abetting it.
Representatives spoke at a news conference in Brackettville, Texas.
“We’re being invaded. The facts are there,” Kinney County Judge Tully Shahan said [Texas counties declare ‘invasion’ during border crisis: ‘We’re being invaded,’ by MaryAnn Martinez, New York Post, July 5, 2022]:
“This is real. We want America to know this is real. America doesn’t know what’s happening here.”
The four counties were Kinney, Goliad, Terrell, and Uvalde, and though the spokesmen stopped short of saying Biden was pushing forward The Great Replacement, they did denounce his “open borders policy,” which amounts to the same thing: an impeachable abdication of his constitutionally required duties, regardless of the reason.
Also present was Rep. Chip Roy, who represents the 21st district.
"We should declare an INVASION. We should, as Texas, turn people AWAY, and do what is necessary to secure our communities."

Former Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli, a top Homeland Security official for POTUS 45 Trump, said Texas Governor Greg Abbott now has the authority to deport illegals.
This is what @GregAbbott_TX and @DougDucey should be doing. It’s perfectly legal for them under the Constitution and exactly what needs to be done to stop (or at least slow) the invasion at our border. https://t.co/429a6LRRAy

In calling the invasion an invasion, celebrity law professor Jonathan Turley, speaking on Fox News, said the group is misinterpreting Article 4:
As they say in Texas, this dog won’t hunt. They’re relying on the guarantee clause of Article Four, Section Four, and that deals with an invasion, which is generally interpreted and long interpreted to mean an actual foreign invasion in the form of an army, an organized force.

Maybe Turley’s right technically. But as the speakers said, anyone who doesn’t think what is occurring is an invasion doesn’t know what’s happening.
