The Brown Run Border is back in the news, though border corruption never really makes the news. It is like Coulter’s Law, the longer it takes the news media to identify a mass shooter in the United States, the less likely it is to be a white male. As for border corruption, the national Lying Press never mentions it. They are radio silent on the issue, as border corruption is primarily a Hispanic problem. Generally one only gets such stories from the local or specialist press, like the Border Report. (h/t reader and writer W. R. Flynn)
A former U.S. Customs and Border Protection officer who used to work at a Laredo port of entry has been indicted on charges of smuggling migrants, according to U.S. Attorney Alamdar Hamdani.
Emanuel Celedon, 36, was scheduled to make an initial appearance Friday in Laredo on the new charges which accuse him of illegally smuggling four undocumented migrants from Mexico across the border into the United States.
Celedon had previously been charged with bribery and drug trafficking, Hamdani said.

There is not much to say. Such corruption among the U.S. Border Patrol and the Office of Field Operations at U.S. Customs and Border Protection is quotidian. For internal affairs units within the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), it is an ongoing problem not getting any better, in fact getting worse as the percentage of Hispanic agents and officers increases.
Happy New Year!
