A transgender lawmaker in Virginia, a Sikh mayor in New Jersey and a refugee mayor in Montana: Were these Democratic victories a rebuke of President Trump or sign of change?
The unstated problem with the Democrats’ Coalition of the Fringes strategy is that the only common denominator they’ve been able to think of to hold their fringes together is by stoking hatred of the cishet white man, such as in all the nationally publicized Hate Hoaxes.
In turn, that hate leads to “It’s okay to be white” fliers.
