Commonreader links to Steve Sailer’s new book (thank you!) and one of her commenters says My question is, will J.K. Rowling sue? Answer: no, it can’t be done.

We’re not violating Ms. Rowling’s copyright by calling the book AMERICA’S HALF-BLOOD PRINCE | BARACK OBAMA’S STORY OF RACE AND INHERITANCE, because you can’t copyright titles, and the concept of a long-awaited unifying figure goes back to the Wars of the Roses and the union of the Lancasters and the Yorks.

If we’d called it Obama For Dummies, then we'd have been sued.
