There’s a new Mexican movie coming out, called Desierto (Desert). It’s about illegal aliens crossing into the United States getting shot at and pursued by an evil American and his vicious dog.Real subtle, isn’t it?
A recent trailer of the movie actually includes the words of Donald Trump from his initial campaign speech:
“The U.S. has become a dumping ground for everybody else’s problems. When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. They’re sending people that have lots of problems. They’re bringing drugs, they’re bringing crime, they’re rapists. And it’s gotta stop. And it’s gotta stop fast.”Nothing in the trailer contradicts Trump’s statement about the U.S. being a dumping ground. Isn’t it obvious? And isn’t it obvious that many illegal aliens bring problems to our country?
The trailer shows noble illegal aliens being shot at by a sadistic American, juxtaposed with the words of Trump. The Trump statement is followed by this slogan in Spanish: “ Las Palabras Son Tan Peligrosas Como Las Balas” (Words are as Dangerous as Bullets).
So what is the trailer saying? That Trump’s comments about the illegal invasion are as bad as shooting people?
The movie’s illegal alien protagonist is named Moises, which is Spanish for Moses. In the Bible, Moses led his people through the desert, get it?
Moises in the film is portrayed by Mexican actor Gael Garcia Bernal, who has ranted about Donald Trump in an interview with the Guardian (see here).
The movie premiered at a film festival in Toronto this past fall and is scheduled to hit Mexican movie theaters on April 15th.
By the way, I agree that the border is a dangerous region. I almost got jumped there once myself.
But it’s dangerous because the United States hasn’t gotten control of it. A border wall would actually save lives.
But the Mexican elite doesn’t want the border secured, and neither does the American elite. That’s why they’re both hysterical over Trump.
