Earlier:

In his viral thread about “The Twitter Files,” which deals with the platform’s suppressing the Hunter Biden laptop story, Matt Taibbi inadvertently disclosed just how dangerous the Indian CEO virus is to free speech. Taibbi revealed that Indian import Vijaya Gadde played a key role in the suppression of the Hunter Biden laptop story.

CEO Jack Dorsey wasn’t minding the store. Gadde, Twitter’s legal chief, was in charge.

“The decision was made at the highest levels of the company, but without the knowledge of CEO Jack Dorsey, with former head of legal, policy and trust Vijaya Gadde playing a key role,” Taibbi tweeted.

Of course.

“While Dorsey is the company’s public face, and the final word on all things product and strategy, the taxing job of creating and enforcing Twitter’s rules don’t [sic] actually land on the CEO’s shoulders,” the Times of India explained in profile last year. “Instead, that falls to Twitter’s top lawyer, Vijaya Gadde.”

Said Gadde:

“He rarely weighs in on an individual enforcement decision. I can’t even think of a time. I usually go to him and say, ‘this is what’s going to happen.’”

Indian immigrant Parag Agrawal succeeded Dorsey. Musk fired him and Gadde.

The real import of the Taibbi revelation is, again, that Third World immigrants, particularly Indians, don’t much care for American customs, like free speech in the public square, as Agrawal confessed:

Our role is not to be bound by the First Amendment… focus[ing] less on thinking about free speech, but thinking about how the times have changed.

That view will spread as more of these grasping, power-mad totalitarians take positions of power.

We know that from what happened at Penn State University, where the Indian immigrant president, Neeli Bendapudi, permitted campus communists to shut down an event featuring Blaze TV’s Alex Stein and Get Off My Lawn podcaster Gavin McInnes.

Happily, now that Elon Musk owns Twitter and cleaned house, a measure of free speech has returned to the platform.

Taibbi’s report suggests that Musk seems committed to exposing just how tenacious Twitter was in suppressing conservatives.

We’ll see.
