The College Fix reports that one Confederate Statue is going back up:
UNC to re-install Confederate monument on campus

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill will re-install a toppled monument to a Confederate soldier on its campus, a decision the university announced several days after a shrieking mob tore it down from its pedestal and vandalized it.
The decision was announced by Thom Goolsby, a member of the university’s Board of Governors, who said that the monument will be reinstated as required by state law, according to the news website Wavy.com.
“Criminals who destroyed state property at UNC and police who did nothing will be held accountable,” Goolsby said, adding that the university “will not allow anarchy to reign on our campuses.”
The statue is currently “in a safe and secure location,” according to a campus spokesman. The monument will go back up within three months, Goolsby said.
The criminal toppling of the statue is currently under investigation by university authorities.
The Confederate soldier statue, “Silent Sam,” has long been a target of activists on campus. Last week a mob that included both students and professors converged on the statue and tore it down, shrieking and screaming while doing so. Following the statue’s toppling, the mob moved in on it, kicking it and stomping on it before covering it with handfuls of dirt. [More]

How Soon Until Somebody Gets Lynched?
In that case anarchy was allowed to reign: see Anarcho-Tyranny Update: Black DA Drops All Charges Against Black Woman, Others, Who Destroyed Confederate Statue After Charlottesville. In this current paroxysm of Establishment-driven hate and fear, how long until a mob of good-thinkers lynches somebody?
I can imagine the subsequent op-eds putting the no-doubt regrettable event into appropriate historical perspective: while the lynching of a suspected racist Nazi white supremacist was unfortunate, we must always remember the thousands of black men (not to mention Leo Frank) who were lynched by, no doubt, blood ancestors of the dead man, so when considering the long sweep of history, this
modest erosion of white privilege must be tallied up as, on the whole, part of the arc of the moral universe bending toward justice, etc. etc.
