Why, when a Quebec cemetery is desecrated by vandals egged on by internet postings, are there arrests but "no prosecutions."? Canada has strong, even vicious, "hate-crime" laws, no?
The answer is that it was Christian cemetery, the (former) Anglican Church of St. Johns, Shrewsbury, Quebec, now deconsecrated to prevent further blasphemy.[Remote Quebec church 'brought to its knees' by occultists, vandals, National Post, December 7, 2010]
The vandals appear to have been French-speaking Satanists. I don’t see why that doesn’t count as hate.
