Last week in GOP Establishment Still Scared Of 2014? John Fund Allowed To Publicize Voter Fraud Stories I noted

Voter fraud is easy to disguise especially if you control the precincts as, of course, particularly in minority districts, the Democrats do. But it is susceptible to broad statistical analysis of the type which revealed the stock option backdating scandals: I made this point in Cuccinelli v. McAuliffe: How Much Black Voter Fraud In Virginia?

I now learn that there is an academic study coming out which supports this concept. The Electoral Studies journal is about to publish Do non-citizens vote in U.S. elections? By Jesse T. Richman Guishan A. Chaitta and David C. Earnest with the chilling abstract

We find that some non-citizens participate in U.S. elections, and that this participation has been large enough to change meaningful election outcomes including Electoral College votes, and Congressional elections. Non-citizen votes likely gave Senate Democrats the pivotal 60th vote needed to overcome filibusters in order to pass health care reform and other Obama administration priorities in the 111th Congress.

In the version which the Washington Post to its credit allowed Richman and Earnest to publish as a blog they specifically cite Al Franken’s Senate victory in Minnesota and Obama’s 2008 North Carolina win as very likely supplied by non-citizen votes: Could non-citizens decide the November election? October 24 2014. They noted

…non-citizens tended to favor Democrats (Obama won more than 80 percent of the votes of non-citizens in… 2008…)

H/T the wonderful Daniel Horowitz who in exile at Conservative Review drives home the point with his customary sledgehammer

How many seats must Republicans lose before they mobilize against voter fraud?

Well, according to a bombshell report published over the weekend in the Washington Post, it’s worse than most of us ever imagined…the 2014 elections might be decided by illegal votes cast by non-citizens in national races. What is even more disconcerting is… that up to 6.4% of all non-citizens participated in the 2008 elections and roughly 14% are eligible to vote. With approximately 22.48 million non-citizens in this country according to the Census Bureau, that would mean over 3 million non-citizens are registered to vote.

A Clarion Wakeup Call on Voter Fraud October 27th, 2014

Horowitz has an action plan:

Republicans…in addition to mandating voter ID must repeal motor-voter laws and begin finding ways to purge the voter rolls of fraudulent voters.

They must clamp down on multi-lingual ballots, absurdly protracted early voting, and same-day voter registration. If the pattern of non-citizens voting continues to grow, their stances on any other issue will forever be moot.

Horowitz is right: because the Democrats have an action plan too.
