Will All The Left-Wing And Minority Sexual Harassment And Assault Revelations Take The Media Focus Off Roy Moore? Of Course Not!

Kevin Michael Grace is enjoying himself:

On the contrary, #AlFranken: Hubris & Nemesis is very much a celebration of American humor https://t.co/phLOBqTHa3

Ryan Saavedra notes that the media is still worrying about Roy Moore:

Today:

-New Al Franken accuser
-Liberal Charlie Rose accused/8 women
-Liberal Kevin Spacey/8 new accusers
-Democrat Bob Filner accused/sex assault
-Democrat Raul Bocanegra resigns over sex acts
-Liberal Glenn Thrush accused
-Bill Clinton/4 new accusers

Media focus = Roy Moore

Another blogger wants to remind us of Bill Clinton’s pardon of Mel Reynolds for underage sex:

Remember when Bill Clinton was selling pardons? Remember when he gave one to Democratic congressman Mel Reynolds who was convicted of sexual assault of a minor and child porn? pic.twitter.com/WQhUjfElci

I want to remind you that Mel Reynolds was a black Congressman, something I didn’t realize myself when his sexual predations came out in the 90s. In 2001, I wrote:

I just found out, five years after I first heard of him being sent away for having sex with an underage girl, that Congressman Mel Reynolds is black. No one mentioned it, so I didn’t know until I came across a story where he mentioned it himself. “In classic Clintonian style, Reynolds smeared his young accuser as a “liar” and “nut case.” A diverse jury of six blacks and six whites believed the troubled girl, not the conniving Rhodes Scholar. Yet, Reynolds bitterly blamed racism in a 40-minute courtroom tirade: “When they shackle me, like they shackled my slave ancestors and take me off to jail, nobody in this room will see me crawl.”

Reynolds was mentioned in my 2009 piece on minority politicians and the MSM, and in 2014, when he was arrested in Zimbabwe on porn charges. (Not child porn, by the way, regular porn — which is illegal in Zimbabwe.) Reynolds was in the news again this February on tax charges of failing to file on income earned while consulting with Chicago businessmen about business in Africa. (Reynolds was, like President Obama, a "Chicago politician".)

In related note, Buzzfeed reports that John Conyers, a black politician from Illinois, gave a secret settlement to an accuser:

Michigan Rep. John Conyers, a Democrat and the longest-serving member of the House of Representatives, settled a wrongful dismissal complaint in 2015 with a former employee who alleged she was fired because she would not “succumb to [his] sexual advances.” Documents from the complaint obtained by BuzzFeed News include four signed affidavits, three of which are notarized, from former staff members who allege that Conyers, the ranking Democrat on the powerful House Judiciary Committee, repeatedly made sexual advances to female staff that included requests for sex acts, contacting and transporting other women with whom they believed Conyers was having affairs, caressing their hands sexually, and rubbing their legs and backs in public. Four people involved with the case verified the documents are authentic.

This settlement apparently came from taxpayer money provided by Congress’s Office of Compliance, which has paid out at least $17 million to various harassment victims. Inquiring minds want to know if these payments went (a) disproportionately to Democrats and (b) disproportionately to the Democratic Black Caucus. The Washington Post, which is investigating, doesn’t have that kind of inquiring mind.

And finally, a note from Roseanne Barr, not a Trump lover:
