A 32-year-old woman shot to death in front of her daughter.

A 23-week pregnant woman shot to death in her own home.

And a Chicago woman shot five times in broad daylight.

All three of these women were killed by their black significant others in the Month of April, and are featured in Kenn Gividen’s monthly series: The Death of White America.

In fact, Gividen logged no less than six murders involving white women and their non-white partners this month alone.

On Friday, April 1st, an 11-year-old girl from Louisville, KY dialed 911 to report the death of her mother, Lizzie Bennett Lewis. The Clark County Sheriff’s office reported that “The daughter had called while her father was still actively firing his gun throughout the house and ultimately shooting and killing her mother.”

Bennett-Lewis’s husband, Mac Lewis was arrested after fleeing the scene of the crime, and has been charged with murder, attempted murder, and criminal recklessness with a firearm.

And in West Virginia, Jhamel Scott Jr. is charged with first-degree murder of his girlfriend, 21-year-old Summer Robinette.

Robinette’s boyfriend shot her with a .357 handgun. She was pregnant at the time of her death, and leaves behind a 3-year-old son.

And in Chicago, Jennifer Hamilton was shot and killed in public by her Black husband after taking out an emergency restraining order against him.

On the morning of April 27th, Hamilton was on the phone with her doctor while walking to a nearby mall. That’s when her husband ambushed and shot her five times in broad daylight.

Alphonso Hamilton was arrested and is now being held without bail. Records show he had a history of domestic assault convictions dating back to 2001.
