Penn Live, ironically self-titled “Patriot-News” in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, has made a doozy of a claim. The headline reads: Shootings won’t stop in Harrisburg until Black people feel they can trust police | PennLive Editorial.
And that just makes total sense… if you believe in the Wakanda Theory, which is, as Paul Kersey puts it, “In the absence of Colonizers (white people), blacks would flourish.”
Unfortunately Wakanda is a comic book land, and Pennsylvania is located in the real world, where blacks enjoy a far higher standard of living in White countries than they do in their native lands.
The Penn Live article begins with a chilling line: “It happened again this week. Gunfire rang out in the 1300 block of Derry Street in Harrisburg”
And goes on to admit that the city boasts a record for violent crime in central Pennsylvania, even honestly stating that the vast majority of shootings involve black men.
But you, the viewer, and I, myself, would draw wildly different conclusions from Patriot News about this next line:
“Many [black victims of shootings] have never told police who shot them, even if they know who did it. And they never will.”
If anything, that’s a reason for the Police to not trust the black community, not the other way around.
