We’ve seen it before: Rapp Snitches, as the late MF Doom put it,
[tell] all their business
Sit in the court and be their own star witness.
But a black Atlanta District Attorney wants to put an end to this tomfoolery.
“I have some legal advice. Don’t confess to crimes on rap lyrics if you do not want them used. Or at least get out of my county.”
But to give credit where credit is due, it is absolutely refreshing to hear a black DA get serious about putting an end to gang violence.
Facing an influx of a hybrid gang known as “Drug Rich,” made up of Gangster’s Diciples, Crips and Bloods, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis has made a controversial move to use rap lyrics as evidence when charging gang members with crimes.
