“It ain’t over til the alien wins,” Michelle Malkin wrote in 2002 of illegal immigration court cases. That truism applies not just to dangerous illegals who fight deportation today, but historically to notorious illegal-alien criminals such as late New Orleans mob boss Carlos Marcello, a prime target of U.S. Attorney General Robert F. Kennedy. Though Marcello was a convicted felon and couldn’t receive citizenship, and despite being deported, he lived and died in the U.S. Six decades later, RFK’s son is also a Democrat presidential candidate. He recently discussed immigration with Tucker Carlson. Perhaps because he knows about Marcello — see below — RFK Jr. is definitely better on immigration than other Democrats. But I’m still not sure he fully grasps the issue.
Marcello was a felon and thus ineligible for U.S. citizenship, although he appealed endlessly to get it. He was supposed to check in regularly with the Immigration and Naturalization Service. He procured a fake Guatemalan birth certificate so he wouldn’t be so far from home if INS booted him. That’s exactly what happened during one of his routine check-ins, much to his surprise. Yet he somehow flew back, illegally of course, on a military flight. This may very well have been because Marcello was assisting the CIA’s attempts to assassinate Fidel Castro.
On November 23, 1963, the day President Kennedy was assassinated, Marcello was in court to receive the news that he had won his immigration case (by bribing two jurors). It had to have been one of the happiest days of his life — particularly if, as some allege, Marcello organized the hit and was Lee Harvey Oswald’s puppet master [see Stefano Vaccara’s 2013 book Carlos Marcello: The Man Behind the JFK Assassination].
Because I personally believe that JFK and his brother were the victims of conspiracies, I am especially interested in the career of Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who believes the CIA whacked his uncle (John F. Kennedy) and his father, RFK Sr. [RFK Jr. Tells Joe Rogan He’s ‘Aware’ of Possibility CIA Could Assassinate Him, by Nikki McCann Ramirez, Rolling Stone, June 15, 2023].

RFK Jr. has also said some interesting things about VDARE’s signature issue, which not only links to Marcello but also to what his two uncles thought and did about it. JFK wrote A Nation of Immigrants for the pro-Great Replacement Anti-Defamation League. Uncle Ted, the dipsomaniac lady killer, championed the 1965 Hart-Celler Act that spelled doom for white America. So RFK Jr.’s pedigree is hardly immigration restrictionist.
The interview with Carlson contains a lot to unpack. (The full interview is not only on Twitter, below, but also on YouTube.)

RFK Jr. is knowledgeable on myriad subjects, and his analysis of Ukraine (he says “Ukraine war proponents are giving a ’comic book’ depiction of the situation: a bad guy, Putin, and that the United States, the good guys, need to stop him” is fascinating. However, especially interesting is his take on the U.S. border. He has released Midnight at the Border, a video about a nighttime visit there when most illegals are crossing (something neither Biden nor Vice President Kamala Harris has done).
At about one hour into the interview, Kennedy discussed what he found on the border. He interviewed a woman [Watch it here], presumably from the Federal Emergency Management Agency, who said that illegals pay for flights to their final destinations. But FEMA pays if the illegals cannot afford the tickets. That means U.S. taxpayers foot the bill.
RFK Jr. was surprised that he didn’t see many Central Americans. That could be because they are crossing in Texas, not Arizona and California. And of course, so many of them are already here, those countries are running out of people to send.
Watch RFK, Jr.’s own video below:
Kennedy said that cartels run the border, which is partially true, but only because the Biden Regime allows it. They weren’t running things by the end of the Trump administration.
Kennedy said he saw aliens from Ghana, Tibet, Nepal, India and China, and of course the “Stans” (collectively known as Stinkistan due to the foul odor of its expatriates).
Nine Border Patrol Agents have committed suicide in the last year, he observed (the result of Mayorkas saying he has our back). Kennedy also reported that the Border Patrol fingerprints illegals to see if they are criminals. But this is only partly true. We fingerprint to see if they have an American criminal record. Our databases can’t check for criminal histories in Mexico, Uzbekistan, or any foreign country. (But many of those stopped at the border have been previously deported, so it’s something).
Kennedy speculated that the Biden Regime viewed anything Trump did on the border as bad, so it reflexively reversed his policies. As someone who worked on the border for 20 years, I can tell you that’s false. In fact, dismantling the border was on the regime’s agenda, and Biden never made any secret of it. In his interview with Megyn Kelly [What’s Behind Massive Rise in Illegal Migrants Under the Biden Administration, May 12, 2023], former Trump official Stephen Miller gave a much more accurate appraisal: The Regime is staffed by Leftists who believe the U.S. government must atone for past wrongs by helping out people from around the globe — even at the expense of Americans. Notably, I would add, at the expense of white Americans.
Kennedy claimed the cartels are advertising for people from around the world to come to the United States. Again, that’s not the whole story. The Regime and its communist Mainstream Media Information Ministry are behind that advertising campaign. From Day One, Biden has made clear that the border is open. Thus a recent policy initiative being the CBP One Mobile smartphone app that permits illegals to apply for asylum before they leave home!
RFK Jr. also said more “immigration judges” must be hired and deployed to the border. That’s partly true, but most immigration judges are far Leftists. Not all, but some of them will let in anybody. They rubber stamp asylum claims and do little else.
Kennedy might recall what happened when his father deported the felon Carlos Marcello. He returned and prevailed on his immigration claims. In other words, a previously deported illegal alien might be responsible for the assassination of Kennedy’s uncle. What we really need is an immigration moratorium coupled with mass deportations. And to stop birthright citizenship ASAP.
On the plus side, Kennedy noted that unscrupulous employers hire illegals who are still in debt to the cartels. He told the story of a Colombian family whose teenage daughter was abducted on the trip to the United States. One way to discourage Colombian illegals: Deport the whole family back to Colombia so that the father and mother can tell fellow villagers how they lost a daughter coming to the United States. Otherwise, they’ll keep coming, and with the same result.
One typically false note irked me. Kennedy alleged that immigration patriots view the Great Replacement invasion from a racist, nationalistic, xenophobic point of view but “I’m coming from a place of compassion.”
Oh, puke! I’m sick of holier-than-thou Leftists who shout, “I’m compassionate. I’m better than you!”
How about some compassion for the Historic American Nation… you know, the one his uncle claimed would not be browned out of existence by Hart-Celler.
I’m glad Kennedy visited the border and that he sees the problem… sort of. I hope his documentary enlightens more people.
But I’m a long way from voting for him. He’d have to junk the rhetoric about “compassion.” He must acknowledge that the United Nations and nongovernmental organizations are behind the invasion at the southwest border, and promise to punish them.
I’m especially disappointed, and concerned, that he cannot see that the Biden Regime intentionally invited the invasion. Only a fool could believe otherwise.
