Let the Secession Begin: States Must Reclaim Immigration Laws

Traitor Joe Biden and Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas just went to the southwest border, not to announce measures to stop the Camp of the Saintsinvasion ofillegal aliens, but instead to launch a program to import more. Future “migrants” will be “paroled” — meaning free to enter the American Heartland and cause trouble — while still in their home countries. That way .they can enter the country “legally.” The incompetence would be mind boggling… if only Biden and Mayorkas were incompetent. But they aren’t. They are willfully aiding and abetting an invasion. Texas and Arizona have tried to build their own border barriers. But the Biden Regime’s hypocritical reaction suggests that the states’ only options are openly defying it for ignoring its constitutional duty to protect the states from invasionor secession.

Mayorkas, who, under Barack Hussein Obama, sold visas the way Don Vito Corleone sold wartime gas rationing stamps, was clear about one thing. Traitor Joe’s Regime won’t discourage more mass illegal immigration. It wants more. Though Texas Governor Greg Abbott delivered a letter to Biden that demands that he do his job and stop the invasion, Mayorkas explained what Biden planned with the parole program: “What we’re trying to do is … incentivize a safe and orderly way and cut out the smuggling organizations.”

As the Washington Examiner’s Byron York put it, “The Republican official wants to stop the flow. The Democratic official wants to accommodate it. Biden seeks to put the smugglers out of business by letting everyone in immediately” [With visit, Biden makes things worse on border, January 9, 2023].

Texas’ Abbott and others have already taken matters into their own hands.

Toward the end of 2021, Texas lined up about 20 shipping containers along the Rio Grande close to a bridge that lies between the border city of Eagle Pass and Mexico [Texas uses shipping containers tocreate “steel wall” nextto international bridge at Eagle Pass, by Uriel J. Garcia, Texas Tribune, November 18, 2021]. Additionally, Abbott pushed the envelope with Operation Lone Star — a campaign that the Texas Department of Public Safety and Texas National Guard have spearheaded — to address the ever-growing invasion.

In addition to these container barricades, we:
- are building more border wall & razor wire fencing
- deployed National Guard across the border to turn back illegal immigrants
- deployed DPS to arrest immigrants illegally in Texas
- declared Cartels as terrorist organizations. https://t.co/pD1hYpNt2o

Although Operation Lone Star has hiccupped a few times, the Texas National Guard has removed illegal aliens from Texas, while state law enforcement arrests them. Officers have bagged more than 300,000. Operation Lone Star and similar immigration enforcement measures show that Texas is taking the initiative on the national question.

Problem is, Abbott is merely sending illegals to other states, or turning them over to the Border Patrol, which the releases them [Gov. Abbott Allows Illegals to Be Taken to Border, But Not Removed, by Sydnie Henry, Texas Scorecard, July 7, 2022]. He must deport them back to Mexico, and dare Biden to stop him.

Arizona GOP Gov. Doug Ducey closed 3,820 feet of open border in Arizona with Mexico with a barrier of double-stacked and secured shipping containers [Governor Ducey Announces Border Wall Gaps Near Yuma Are Now Filled, by Office of the Governor Doug Ducey, August 24, 2022]. But the Biden Regime’s Department of Justice sued Ducey, arguing that the containers were illegally installed on federal lands.

Ducey surrendered. He said he would remove the barriers, although he wants the Regime to fill those gaps [Arizona agrees to take down shipping container border wall to settle Biden lawsuit, by Chris Pandolfo and Adam Shaw, Fox News, December 22, 2022].

Ducey should have taken Biden all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court for not protecting the state from an invasion. Force and lawfare are the only thing that Biden’s handlers understand.

Still, along with the leftist-controlled cities and states that have declared themselves “sanctuaries,” Abbott’s and Ducey’s moves suggest that the Biden Regime is inadvertently localizing the enforcement of immigration law.

Until the U.S. Supreme Court decided Chy Lung v. Freeman in 1876, the states could deny immigrants entry into the United States. Indeed, prior to then, states and local governments could deport immigrants who committed crimes and were generally undesirable, such as being unemployable, mentally ill or disabled, or likely to land on the public dole [American Immigration Policy 160 Years Ago, by Ryan McMaken, Mises Institute, August 2, 2018]. The federal government controlled naturalization; the states controlled immigration.

Naturally, as immigrants flooded the country in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, principally through Ellis Island, immigration legislation was needed. America’s political leadership got this question right in 1924 when it severely restricted immigration — Silent Cal signed the bill — to ensure America stayed American. President Eisenhower even pulled off Operation Wetback.

However, 1965’s Hart-Celler Act and ensuing legislation has completely undone the patriotic immigration reforms of the 1920s.

Where does all this leave us? One answer is secession. If the Biden Regime will not do its constitutional duty — to protect the state from invasion, the states must protect themselves.

Here’s what the Constitution says:

The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against Invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence.

This invites the observation that the federal government did nothing about the nationwide Floyd Hoax Riots.

The time is now for the states to embrace creative measures to tackle this existential crisis. They cannot rely on Republican leaders at the federal level to defend their interests. State action — featuring elected officials who are not as captured by special interests as their federal counterparts — must stop the deluge.

Pockets of the country have plenty of fight.

Immigration patriots simply can’t afford to wait for the federal government to stop the invasion. It clearly won’t. A line must be drawn in the sand. We must secure control of state and local governments to build autonomous immigration enforcement forces that challenge federal authority and do what neither Traitor Joe nor his predecessors have done: stop the invasion.

From there, the Historic American Nation’s Reconquista can commence.
