Re: James Fulford’s Blog Former RNC Chairman Ken Mehlman Comes Out Of Closet, Turns Out To Be Democrat

What a load of crap.

Would you like me to send you a list of all of the closeted gay, hypocrite Republicans from the last 10 years?

Or would you rather have the list of all of the Republicans who ended up in prison for both homosexual and heterosexual crimes?

I would defy you to come up with lists of Dems that are close to half as long and the Dems on those lists tend not to be sanctimonious hypocrites.

Out of curiosity — what do these matters have to do with immigration policy?

By James Fulford writes: There certainly are a lot of them, aren’t there? But our syndicated columnists Pat Buchanan and Michelle Malkin covered the Foley scandal (The Foley Follies: It’s The Predation, Stupid and Moral Clarity And Mark Foley) and Pastor Chuck Baldwin has made his view on gay Republicans pretty clear in Thoughts On The Larry Craig Scandal.

But the issue, in the long run, is not whether the Republican party bosses are secretly homosexual, but whether they're secretly Democrats — Bush’s compassionate conservatism, Mehlman’s pro-immigration diversity outreach, Michael Steele’s "distancing" the GOP from Arizona.

It’s true that gays tend to be further left than straight people, even on non-gay issues, and that means that Patrick Cleburne’s suggestion that the RNC, for a change, should elect a chairman from the pool of "white men of Christian heritage" —like the actual GOP voters — should be modified to "straight white men of Christian heritage".
