Re: Patrick Cleburne’s Blog: VOTE Against Lugar On Kagan

I’m unsurprised that Senator Richard Lugar announced that he will vote for Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagan.

Since 1967, when I voted for Lugar to be Indianapolis Mayor, I've had nothing but buyer’s remorse. I supported him again in 1994 and 2000 during his Senate campaigns.

My reward: Lugar cosponsored the DREAM Act!

For more than twenty years, Lugar has been a liberal. At some point, treasonous Republicans must pay. For Lugar that will be in 2012 when true Republicans will abandon him in droves.

My conservative values have remained steadfast while Lugar has sold out to the Democrats.
