09/23/09 — A New Jersey Reader Wonders Why Congressman Joe Wilson’s Loves Cheap Labor
From: J. Richard Bert
Hopeful Republicans and anxious Democrats won’t have to wait until November 2010 to find out how their candidates will fare.
In forty-five days incumbent and widely unpopular Democrat New Jersey governor Jon Corzine will face Republican challenger Chris Christie.
Corzine, a supporter of instate tuition and "driver privilege cards" for illegal aliens, is substantially behind in the polls, trailing Christie by an average of seven points.
Christie’s victory, should he win, would be ominous for the Democrats and will send them running for cover in 2010.
Bert’s previous letter about Corzine’s moral turpitude is here.
