The statistics are right there, if you just know where to look. Florida is a 53 percent white state. Its population is 16 percent black.
The 2018 Florida Uniform Crime Report provides an interesting look at violent crime in the 53 percent white state:
Though blacks are just 19 percent of the population, they represented 54 percent of the arrests for homicide in the state of Florida in 2018.
It should be noted Hispanics are lumped in with whites in the Florida Uniform Crime Report.

It should also be noted the publication here of the 2018 Florida Uniform Crime Report racial demographics for homicide represents the first time this data has been published by any news site or webzine. Not one newspaper or local ABC/CBS/NBC/FOX affiliate published this data in the state of Florida.
Racial disparities exist in the criminal justice system throughout the United States of America because blacks disproportionately commit the bulk of violent crime, necessitating not just imprisonment, but the forfeiture of their franchise.
