Marco: "But you said we were friends!"
The Drudge Report has broken its near embargo on the 2013 Amnesty campaign this morning, linking to Senator Marco Rubio’s anguished squeal of protest over the White House leaking of draft Amnesty legislation:
It’s a mistake for the White House to draft immigration legislation without seeking input from Republican members of Congress," Rubio said.
"… The president’s bill repeats the failures of past legislation. It fails to follow through on previously broken promises to secure our borders, creates a special pathway that puts those who broke our immigration laws at an advantage over those who chose to do things the right way and come here legally and does nothing to address guest workers or future flow

If the fate of the nation were not at stake, the spectacle of Rubio being played for a fool again might be amusing. Bipartisanship on this issue has always simply meant surrender.
Unfortunately his response further demonstrates his credulousness: there is no doubt his fellow RINOs on the issue will stay bought.
Score one, Senator Vitter!
Increasingly it is clear that I was right in Rubio Swings Left, Supports Amnesty, Open Borders — Wall Street Journal Cheers. Considering his weak handling of the arguments in that interview I concluded the GOP Establishment’s designated Hispanderer is not too bright.
Rubio is out of his depth.
