Our friend Taki’s new website Taki’s Top Drawer has a forceful item on the War Against Christmas — a Manhasset supervisor who interrupted the Catholic priest invited to bless the town’s Christmas tree to "make clear this is in no way a religious ceremony … " Significantly, he has now apologized because of the intense public outcry.
